Hi there, Carolina, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We love helping you plan your Disney Parks vacations!
We’re looking forward to welcoming you to the
Disneyland Resort soon! I’m happy to report that you don’t need a ticket for
Downtown Disney District. This area is open to the general public, after passing through a security entrance. Theme-park tickets are only required to enter
Disneyland Park or
Disney California Adventure Park. So, you’re more than welcome to visit Downtown Disney District any time during your stay at the Disneyland Resort. Downtown Disney District is usually open later than the theme parks, so it’s the perfect destination for a post-park stroll!
There are so many exciting experiences to check out at Downtown Disney District, from decadent meals, to refreshing cocktails, to family fun! Some of my favorite new spots include
Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes,
Ballast Point Brewing Co., and
Salt & Straw. For a one-of-a-kind treat, stop by the
CrazyShake Window by Black Tap – this is a great spot to watch outrageous shakes being made and to grab a shake on-the-go! Lastly, one of my favorite dinner spots is
Naples Ristorante e Bar – it was recently redone, and the new décor is beautiful!
For some unique souvenirs, head to
World of Disney,
Disney Home, or
The Disney Dress Shop. When you’re up for some friendly competition, head to
Splitsville Luxury Lanes for bowling fun. You're going to make so many special memories during your epic Disneyland Resort adventures!
Please stop by with any additional questions, Carolina! Hope to see ya’ real soon!
