do you need a ticket to get into the disneyland park for a dvc after hours moonlight magic?

    Greetings, Gina!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are so fortunate to be able to attend a Disney Vacation Club exclusive Moonlight Magic Event at the Disneyland Resort! These events "sell out" very quickly and are very popular.

If you have a Moonlight Magic event ticket, you will not need a separate daytime park ticket unless you wish to enjoy the parks earlier in the day as well. The Moonlight Magic event page will usually explain that you can enter a couple hours before the official Moonlight Magic start time in my past experiences, so make sure to read the details.

There are SO many great Disney Vacation Club perks at the Disneyland Resort. I love using my DVC discount on shopping and dining locations throughout the parks and Disneyland Resort Hotels. Make sure to ask at every location if a DVC discount is offered so you don't miss out on any perks. I was surprised to see that most Quick Service locations even offer a discount when you show your membership card and ID. You can also call Disney Vacation Club Member Services to see if other DVC exclusive experiences are available during your trip like a behind-the-scenes look at Soarin' or the Neighborhood Power Walk through Disney California Adventure Park.

I hope this helps, and please return if you have any other questions. Have a Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah day!
