Hey Howdy Hey Jesse and welcome back to planDisney!
Change is inevitable when it comes to vacationing in the Walt Disney World Resort and many changes have occurred this year.
Theme Park Reservation requirements are one of the big ones, so let's go over whether you need to make them or not.
Earlier this year, Disney announced that Guests purchasing date-based tickets no longer need park reservations. These tickets are the ones typically purchased online through the Disney site either with a vacation package or as a stand-alone product. They typically require you to select a date when you want them to be valid and depending on the number of tickets purchased, they have a
specific validation window. These tickets do not require reservations for the parks.
Another big change that happened earlier this year was Lightning Lane options.
Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass options are now available for purchase 7 days in advance when staying onsite at a Disney Resort hotel. This option will give you access to shorter lines when in the parks so you can spend more time enjoying the parks and less time waiting in lines. This can be a great option when planning your "must-do" attractions!
Planning your trip to Walt Disney World is half to fun of taking your trip and I hope you are enjoying this process so far. If you have any other questions please let us know as we are always happy to help!
To Infinity and Beyond,
