We need to take a taxi to and from all the Disney parks. I understand the taxis can only get you as far as the TTC but can you bypass this by being dropped off at a nearby hotel & walk across? I don’t want to get a breakfast reservation. Thank you

Hi Helen! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.

Your trip is almost here! And while that's really exciting, do you want to hear what may make your trip even more exciting? Roundup Rodeo BBQ at Disney's Hollywood Studios is opening on March 23, 2023! I was recently able to experience a tasting at this restaurant and between the decor and the delicious food, I highly recommend checking it out. If you are unable to secure advanced dining reservations for this restaurant before you leave, keep checking back to see if anything opens up. Oftentimes people change their plans as their vacation gets closer and any canceled reservations can be reserved by other Guests!

Also, while TRON/ Lightcycle Run at Magic Kingdom Park officially opens on April 4, 2023, it was recently hinted that some Guests may be able to snag a spot in the Virtual Queue or purchase an Individual Lightning Lane as part of a soft-opening from March 20, 2023, to April 2, 2023. So keep those eyes peeled. I got to ride this attraction recently and it was phenomenal and a complete game-changer for one of my favorite lands at the park, Tomorrowland.

Taxis and rideshares can drop you off at specific drop-off locations right outside of EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. For Magic Kingdom Park, you would have to take a taxi or rideshare to the Transportation and Ticket Center. From there, you would either use the ferryboat (my favorite) or the Walt Disney World Monorail (also my favorite - I can't choose) to get to the gates of Magic Kingdom Park. Both of these modes of transportation are easy to use and get you to your destination in a unique way. If you are staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel and want a more direct journey to Magic Kingdom Park, you can always opt for a Minnie Van. This rideshare is available through the Lyft app and is driven by Cast Members. Not only will you be arriving in style, but these specific vehicles can go directly to the gates of Magic Kingdom Park without having to be dropped off at the Transportation and Ticket Center first.

Helen, I hope you have a wonderful vacation. Be sure to reach out again if you have any questions in the future.

    Out there is our destiny,
    Matt
