Mom and daughter on Expedition Everest; Animal Kingdom

    I need suggestions of something special that I can book for our 8 year old son. He is not interested in the character experiences, or dressing like a pirate. He is more interested in hands on learning experiences. I would love any advice!

    Walt Disney World Resort’s Attractions and Rides offer something for everyone! My children are still captivated by the many educational, interactive experiences. Here are a few of our favorites.

    Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park: 
    -Affection Section petting zoo
    -Rafiki’s Planet Watch which also features the Conservation Station (hands-on     
     exhibits in an animal care facility) and Habitat Habitat! (outdoor discovery trail)
    -The Boneyard with loads of fossil discovery fun
    -Discovery Island Trails provide animal encounters
    -Kilimanjaro Safaris
    -Lions, Tigers and Gorillas-Disney Animals
    -Wilderness Explorers

    Epcot:
    -The Kidcot Fun Stops interactive experiences in all country pavilions, World Showcase
    -Living with the Land in Future World
    -SeaBase, interactive fun and animal encounter in Future World
    -Sea Turtles and Sharks- Disney Animals in Future World
    -Advanced Training Lab, interactive, discovery fun in Future World
    -Coral Reefs in Future World
    -Innoventions in Future World

    Disney's Hollywood Studios:
    -The Streets of America serve as a life-size learning experience of the use of 'forced perspective'

    Magic Kingdom Park:
    -The Swiss Family Treehouse explores a real treehouse on many different levels
    -The Hall of Presidents features 43 U.S. Presidents on stage tracing the history of the United States of  America.
