Do you need to be staying at a Disney Resort Hotel to make use of the free transport between parks? We're renting a car anyway as we're visiting Miami for a few days, but I was just wondering as we're thinking of staying in a non-WDW hotel. Thanks!

    Hi Sophie:

One of the benefits of staying on Walt Disney World property is the various methods of complimentary transportation, such as buses, monorails, and boats, throughout Walt Disney World for Resort Guests. While I've never seen anyone asked for proof of Resort stay before being allowed to board internal Disney transportation, I suppose it can always happen. It's extremely likely that you will have no issue using Disney World transportation. In the very unlikely event you are unable to utilize Disney World transportation, there are also taxis that operate on Walt Disney World property that can get you where you want to go.

    Enjoy your vacation.
