Hi Marianne,
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with a terrific question!
The happy news is that you can dine at
Chef Mickey's without being a Guest of the resort hotel. We typically dine at Chef Mickey's on every trip and did breakfast there on our most recent visit. Although the character dining experience was modified, the characters were still super cute. We love being able to walk to Magic Kingdom after breakfast here. Do make an
advanced dining reservation. I just checked for availability on your arrival date and did not see any availability. Keep checking. Cancellations do happen!
Also try
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera. This is actually our favorite character dining experience. The artistic flare of the characters is fun, and the food is delicious. We love Disney's Riviera Resort and always dine here when we are planning a day at EPCOT or Disney's Hollywood Studios because we can take the
Disney Skyliner to either park from the resort.
As you prepare for your visit, keep an eye on the
dining updates since dining options and experiences could change. And, make sure you have dining reservations for other meals. We were so glad that we had dining reservations on our last visit because it assured us that we would eat at a reasonable hour without having to rely on
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering or
Walk-up Dine Availability. Whatever you do, know that you will need to plan for dining.
Marianne, make sure you have appropriate
face coverings and assemble your superhero crew. An
Incredible Disney Day awaits!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
