Do I need a special ticket for the New Years celebration at Epcot?

Welcome to planDisney, Fabi! I think it's so fun that you're thinking about celebrating New Year's Eve at EPCOT. It is definitely the place to be to ring in the new year, and it is typically a pretty big party!

Fabi, you do not need a special ticket to enter EPCOT on New Year's Eve. Your regular Theme Park admission and a valid Disney Park Pass reservation will be all you need to join in on the fun. We don't know exactly what the plans are for December 31 this year, and there may be some extra events that require separate payment or admission, but those are completely optional and you don't have to buy any of them if all you want to do is enjoy the atmosphere, ride some attractions, and celebrate the new year with a nighttime spectacular.

If you want to spend New Year's Eve at EPCOT, I recommend that you get your tickets and your Disney Park Pass reservations in place as soon as possible. Holidays are very popular days at Walt Disney World Resort, and the available Disney Park Pass reservations may fill up several weeks or even months in advance. You can secure your tickets and reservations right now if you're ready. It's never too early!

I hope this answers your question, Fabi, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical day at Walt Disney World Resort!
