Hello, Flynn!
Welcome to planDisney with a great planning question. If you have questions about assigning tickets and park pass reservations, you have come to the right place. I would be happy to help walk you through the process of completing this important step in planning your vacation.
The
50th Anniversary Celebration is in full swing and you will not want to miss a minute of the festivities when you arrive. There are several new experiences created for the World’s Most Magical Celebration that you do not want to miss.
Disney’s Enchantment is the new nighttime fireworks spectacular that is shown nightly in the Magic Kingdom but only during the 18-month celebration.
You can reassign a ticket to members of your party in the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Make sure that everyone who needs a ticket is connected to your My Family & Friends list. You will need to send an invitation to connect to anyone over the age of 13 that manages their account. If you have not already linked your tickets to your account you can add them by opening the mobile app and tapping the more icon [3 horizontal lines]. Select the
Tickets and Passes button. Any tickets that you have already linked will be here, if you have not you can continue to link them by tapping the
+ sign in the top right corner to reveal the
Link Tickets & Passes option. Enter the confirmation number or ticket ID number in the space provided. You will be asked to link your ticket(s) to members of your travel party. Be sure to assign your tickets to the correct person, child(ren)s tickets to those ages 3-9, and also to Guests ages 10+. Confirm your ticket assignments to complete the process.
Immediately after you have linked your tickets, you will want to make your
Disney Park Pass reservations. All theme parks are operating with limited capacity and the only way to guarantee that you will be granted admission is with a Park Pass Reservation. Hopefully, you have discussed with your family which parks you plan to visit on each day of your trip. If you purchased the Park Hopper Option with your tickets, you only need to reserve the first park you are planning to visit for the day. Reservations are not needed for Park Hopping.
You may want to check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to confirm which parks are available during your trip. To make your reservation in the mobile app, tap the “
+” sign at the bottom of the screen and select
Make a Park Reservation. Tap the
Theme Park Tickets button and then sign in to your My Disney Experience account. Select all the members of your party you need a reservation and tap Continue. Choose the first date and then the park you plan to visit and Continue. Review and confirm your selection to complete your reservation for the day. Repeat this process for the remaining days of your admission tickets. You will receive a confirmation by email for each day that you have a reservation.
I hope this information helps with your planning. If you have any more questions please come back and ask me. I would be happy to help.
See ya real soon,
Andrea
