    Do I need to sign my toddler up for the nursery ahead of time? I'm not even sure if we will use it but I wasn't sure if I needed to do something beforehand.

    Hi there, Scott!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Thank you for stopping by while planning your upcoming DREAM of a vacation!  I know you are excited for that countdown to tick all the way down and be on your way to an incredible adventure at sea with Captain Mickey!

    The onboard “it’s a small world” nursery! is such a fabulous amenity that Disney Cruise Line offers those traveling with little ones.  My boys went there A LOT when they were younger and we loved utilizing it because we got to get some adult time to relax and enjoy sometime sans kiddos and we knew they were having a great time as well.  It is recommended to pre-reserve nursery time as space is limited, but it is not required.  You can always check with the nursery Cast Members once onboard to determine what is available should you choose to use it.  We liked to use it during naptime so our littles could get a nap in without one of us having to stay in the room with them.  We also used it while we enjoyed a quiet dinner at one of the adult-exclusive restaurants onboard.

    Disney Cruise Line also has diaper pails and pack and plays available for your stateroom and you can request a highchair or booster for your main dining room table.  These requests can be made on you “My Reservations” page or by contacting Disney Cruise Line directly.  Also check the Daily Navigator for character appearance times and activities geared towards toddler-aged cruisers!
