Hello Demetra!
Welcome to planDisney with your great question about
proof of Florida Residency when visiting Walt Disney World Resort. As a Florida Resident myself, I hope I can thoroughly answer your question.
Demetra, for every
Walt Disney World theme park ticket purchased for an adult, the following items can be used as proof of Florida Residency:
- A valid Florida driver’s license (must have a Florida address)
- A valid Florida state-issued ID card (must have a Florida address)
- A valid Florida-based military ID
If you do not have one of the IDs listed above, it’s okay! There are other forms of proof you can use. The following items can be used as long as they are dated within the last 2 months and show evidence of a Florida address. These items must be accompanied by a corresponding picture ID such as a passport, driver's license, or state identification card.
- Proof of Current Mortgage in the form of a monthly mortgage statement.
- Certain bills, policies, and registrations such as homeowner’s policy bills and current utility bills.
- Certain types of mail (a full list can be found on the
Florida Residency page).
Did you know? Florida Residents can enjoy special offers, tickets, and passes just for living in the Sunshine State. I encourage you to visit the
Florida Resident offers page to learn more!
