Do you need to show proof of age for a child under 3 at the gate? My daughter will not be three yet when we go, but I wasn't sure if I should bring a copy of her birth certificate just in case.

    Hi Jennifer!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Walt Disney World Resort is such a magical place for Guests of all ages, but especially little ones. And since princes and princesses under age 3 are complimentary and do not require theme park admission, it saves families a little bit of money for more Dole Whips and Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars during your vacation! You will not need to bring proof of your daughter's birthday for your trip. Simply let the Cast Member at the theme park entrance know that she is 2 years old and they will let her enter. I have travelled with both of my boys at 2 years old and we haven't had any issues.

Be sure to check out the Preschooler Parent's Guide to Walt Disney World Resort for some more tips to help you plan your family vacation! Please let us know if you have any other questions. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
