Will we need to show an id every time we use our wdw tickets? Thank you

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Patricia ~

Thank you for coming to us with your question. Guests are not required to show an I.D. when using their tickets. The first time you enter a park, you will hold your MagicBand or card containing the RF technology to the touch point with the Mickey head on it. You will also hold your finger on the scanner (you will need to use the same finger each time you enter a park). Your MagicBand or card will then be encoded with your fingerprint so that only you will be able to enter the park using it. You'll want to make sure each person has their own MagicBand or card in hand after that to enter the parks.

If you are planning to purchase alcoholic beverages in a park, you should carry your I.D. with you. Annual Pass holders are also required to show their I.D. along with their Annual Pass to get discounts off merchandise in the parks. Florida Residents must present an I.D. to purchase Florida Resident tickets. Other than that, I've never needed an I.D. in the parks.

Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions. We're thrilled to assist you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
