Do you need to show an ID or Birth Certificate if you are an adult?

Hi there, Ethan. Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for taking the time to visit us with your question.

I’m glad to hear you’re planning an upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth! Now that the theme parks’ reopening is well underway, I bet you’re excited to return to a land of Magic. I was just at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park this past weekend, and my ID was not checked for entry on either of my 3-day visit. The only time my ID was checked was when I purchased alcoholic drinks at Pym Tasting Lab in the new Avengers Campus. Therefore, I do recommend having your ID or birth certificate ready to present to Cast Members when necessary.

I can’t wait for you to experience all the pixie-dusted fun at the Disneyland Resort. The newly opened Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park is both immersive and impressive. And be sure to check out the newly reimagined Snow White’s Enchanted Wish in Disneyland Park! If you have questions regarding planning your upcoming trip, please don’t hesitate to visit us on planDisney again! We’re all EARS!

    See ya real soon,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
