Walt Disney World Resort vacation begins in just two days! Hooray! Let's talk about your
My Disney Experience account and how to be sure it's set up for your visit. When setting up your profile in the
My Disney Experience App, there are many things I think are important to be sure are ready for your visit to the resorts and theme parks. Under "Membership & Passes", you can add any Disney affiliations such as being a Disney Visa cardholder and a Disney+ subscriber to ensure you receive discounts that may apply to purchases such as hotel stays. If you will be using MagicBands or
MagicBand+ during your vacation, you can link them under "MagicBands & Cards." Under "Account Settings", you can enter your personal information and manage your email notifications.
One of the features in your profile that you will want to set up is "Mobile Device Notifications." I love this feature because it will remind you of your plans such as dining or
theme park reservations. It will also notify you when you have
Disney PhotoPass photos to view and will send you recommendations for
attractions,
dining, and entertainment. Another feature you will definitely want to set up ahead of time is your payment method. This will help you save time when you are using the app to make purchases such as
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering, and you can store up to six credit cards.
