Hi Chanita! Welcome to planDisney.
Looks like a fall trip is in the making to
The World's Most Magical Celebration. With Halloween being my favorite holiday, I adore all the pumpkin decorations and pumpkin spice treats. As part of the 50 yEAR celebration, enjoy a specialty-themed treat found in the
50th Anniversary Sips and Bites Guide. At
Magic Kingdom Park stop by
Casey's Corner, and you can have Walt's Chili Cheese Dog.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park requires a separate ticket purchase to attend. However, with your ticket purchase, you are not required to have a Theme Park Ticket or a
Disney Park Reservation. As early as 4:00 PM, you can enter Magic Kingdom Park to start enjoying the park. At 7:00 PM, day guests without party tickets will begin to exit the park until you are only surrounded by party goers and goblins. This spooky good time continues until midnight. I highly recommend planning a lightweight
costume to get into the spirit while still maintaining a comfort level as September in Florida can be hot and humid.
I recommend catching the second performance of
Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Parade from Frontierland. Crowds tend to be higher during the first parade. Head to a hard-to-get attraction while others are sitting on the route. Do not miss
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks, trick or treating in the park, or the
Hocus Pocus Villian Spelltacular. If you cannot tell by now, I am a huge fan of this ticketed event and I totally think this is a Disney splurge worth the extra cost. I would even go as far as to recommend skipping a theme park day ticket for this party instead.
Keeping it Magical,
Cindy
