Hiya Jennifer,
Welcome back to planDisney! We are so honored that you keep coming to visit us for help planning your vacations to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Planning a large family trip definitely takes a bit more logistics, but it's a great place to make memories together.
Speaking of memories, let's chat about
Memory Maker. It sounds like you have heard that you don't necessarily need to purchase a Memory Maker for each reservation, and that's correct. Once you link everyone in your party to your
Family and Friends list and share photos with them, then you can use one single Memory Maker for up to 25 Guests (even if they aren't staying in the same room)! You also don't have to be in the photos together at all. I always love opening up my Photo Gallery at the end of my trip to see what photos my Prince Charming and our toddlers take while I'm browsing the Emporium or we are doing Rider Swap.
I hope this was helpful, Jennifer. I know I mentioned that you need to ensure each Guest is sharing photos, but before I let you go, I want to quickly walk you through how to do that. In your Family and Friends list, there is an option to "Edit Settings" for your connections. Once you click that, you will see options to allow them to view/modify your plans, make plans for Guests you manage, and view your Disney PhotoPass photos. Make sure that it is toggled for viewing on both your account and theirs. Once you do that, activate Memory Maker by selecting one of the photos taken on your first day in the
My Disney Experience mobile app, and all of your party's photos will be included. I hope you have an amazing trip, and if you need anything else, please come back and see us.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
