    Do I need a separate park entrance ticket to get into the Christmas party at Magic Kingdom?

    Season's Greetings, Deborah! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Let's get you ready for a jolly holiday at the Walt Disney World Resort!

    While it may only be February, it's never to early to plan a Christmas visit to Walt Disney World. From the decorations to the music to all the twinkling lights (not to mention the food!), there's no better time to be at the Most Magical Place on Earth. And one holiday treat we all look forward to is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom Park. It's such a fun way to get into the holiday spirit. My favorite part is watching Cinderella Castle come alive with shimmering lights that look just like a sparkly sheet of ice. It gives me visions of sugar plums just thinking about it!

    Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party takes place on select nights during the holiday season after the Park closes for day Guests, and it's a special event requiring a separately purchased ticket. As I write this, Disney hasn't yet announced when tickets will go on sale for the party, but I wouldn't be surprised if Santa and his elves have something for us very soon. Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the latest. When we have news about the party, you'll see it there.
