Bright Suns, Danielle!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It's an honor to have you back with us again!
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios is indeed a fascinating place to be right now. I can't wait to visit myself!
To make sure that all Guests flying to
Batuu have the best experience possible, the Walt Disney World Resort is currently monitoring attendance very closely. The land may be open during the day, or the Boarding Group system may be activated to allow travelers in when
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is ready for them.
Since you're visiting in January, the best way to learn more about the access to Batuu is the
My Disney Experience app. It currently offers real-time information about
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. The "Status and Access" section will let you know if the land is open or if Guests are joining Boarding Groups to enter. You can find that information under the "
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge – Status and Access" section on your app.
If you want to make sure that you'll be able to hit hyperdrive as soon as you land at
Disney's Hollywood Studios, you have another option.
You can book a reservation for one of the three incredible experiences offered at
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, as Guests with reservations are allowed in up to one hour before their reservations.
Oga's Cantina,
Savi's Workshop and
Droid Depot are all open for reservations, and I'm sure that those experiences will turn your knock you out of orbit!
I hope these tips help you plan for a fantastic journey across the Galaxy, dear Danielle. As more questions pop up before February, please, join us again. It's always an honor to help a fellow space explorer!
May the Force and the magic be with you,
Julie
