Hi there, Emerson, and welcome to planDisney!
Getting around the theme parks is key to living your best life at The Most Magical Place on Earth. Your favorite snack (like a yummy DOLE Whip) may be on one side of a theme park, but your favorite attraction is on another. So, you’ll definitely need a way to get from Point A to Point B.
It’s great that you’re already thinking ahead about your upcoming
electric scooter rental. ECVs, or Electric Conveyance Vehicles, are available to rent at Disney World’s theme parks and
Disney Springs. You can’t reserve one ahead of time and they are issued on a first come, first serve basis. I highly recommend that you get to the theme parks as early as possible to ensure that you can rent one for the day. When you’re done with your scooter for the day, return it to the rental station near the front of the park. If you’re park hopping to another theme park, simply show your receipt to get another one at your new destination.
Now, if you need an ECV for your entire Disney adventure, even outside of the theme parks, you’ll want to contact a third-party scooter provider like ScooterBug. Featured providers like these can work with Cast Members at your Resort hotel to have an ECV ready for you as soon as you tap into the magic. Services like these can be super convenient, and you can remain in your ECV when you’re using most
Disney modes of transportation.
AN EXTRA GEM: Check out
the Services for Guests with Mobility Needs webpage to see what your seating and riding options are at shows, rides, and other attractions. For example, on some rides, you’ll need to transfer from your ECV to a wheelchair.
Emerson, you will be exploring the Disney Parks before you can say “supercalifragilisticexpialidocious”! Until then, please don’t hesitate to ask your Disney vacation planning questions
here at planDisney.
Magic always,
LeAndra
