Hi Shiloh,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us a question about your upcoming cruise this November aboard the magnificent
Disney Wish!
We often fly to a cruise port the day before we’re scheduled to set sail. It really does give me peace of mind to know that we won’t need to be scrambling at the last minute to deal with transportation issues. That extra day really starts our vacation off the right way.
When we sail out of
Port Canaveral, we often stay at the Hyatt Regency at Orlando International Airport as well. It’s so convenient to go directly from the airplane to a nice, cozy hotel room! As for ground transfers, lots of Guests choose to stay at the Hyatt, so Disney Cruise Line has found a way to make the entire process seamless! All you need to do is call Disney to book your
Ground Transportation, and they’ll arrange for your transfer from the hotel to Port the following morning, with little fuss. Just be sure to tell them that you’ll be staying at the Hyatt when you book your transportation. Your bus should be at some point between 9:00 AM and 1:15 PM, depending on your Port Arrival Time, which you’ll get when your
Online Check-In is complete.
Finally, if you have any last-minute questions on Embarkation Day, you’ll be able to visit the Disney Cruise Line hospitality desk, located directly in the Hyatt’s lobby from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM.
I hope my answer helps you plan a smooth start to your vacation! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
