Hiya, John and welcome to planDisney!
John, I'm so glad you've dropped by with your planning question. With its cool nights and brisk days, January is a wonderful time of the year to visit the Walt Disney World Resort.
Since you already have your travel dates, I recommend browsing through the available resorts
HERE. By inputting your dates you can see which
Disney Resorts Collection hotels are available for those days and pricing per room. As you begin to search, I recommend looking for one room instead of entering the details for your entire traveling party. Entering in a full traveling party will restrict your view to rooms that can be occupied by a larger number of guests. At this time, you will need to book each room separately.
Now, once you have selected a Disney Resorts Collection hotel you can then add in your theme park tickets to
create a vacation package. Again, you would have two vacation packages, one for each hotel room and the guests occupying that room. When selecting tickets you will be able to choose how many days you'll be visiting the theme parks and if you would like a standard ticket that allows you to visit one park per day or a
park hopper ticket that allows you to "hop" over to another park within the same day.
Prior to purchasing your vacation package, please make sure to check the
Disney Park Pass availability. As the Walt Disney World Resort continues to operate in a state of phased reopening all guests are required to have a complimentary Disney Park Pass reservation in addition to a valid theme park ticket to gain entry.
Once you have booked your vacation package, please make sure to link your confirmation number to your
My Disney Experience account and then make your Disney Park Pass reservations as soon as possible.
John, I hope this information helps pave the way to your dream vacation. If you need any recommendations for selecting a Disney Resorts Collection hotel or have any additional questions, please come on back to planDisney.
Best wishes for a pixie dusted stay,
Lauren
