We need in room babysitters and was wondering if you had any suggestions? Heard about a fairygodmother company but would love your opinion. We are staying at the AOA and have a DD5 and DD21months:)

    Hi Connie!

We used a sitter company for our Walt Disney World vacation last week for our 12 month old!  It is Kids Nite Out, and they are recommend by Disney.  I cannot say enough wonderful things about them.  My daughter is not used to strangers, but she did wonderful with our sitter from Kids Nite Out.  The process of making a reservation was super simple, they are all familiar with Disney resorts and are just wonderful with the kids.  We gave her permission to walk our daughter around the Polynesian if she was upset, but she didn't need to and stayed in the room with her and played while Mom and Dad enjoyed a dinner out. They currently charge $16.00 per hour with a minimum of 4 hours for one child or $18.50 per hour for 2 children.

We put our 4 year old in the Neverland Club at the Polynesian.  It is a kids club for ages 3 to 12 and he LOVED it.  They have Disney related activities that they do all night and if your child is there at dinner time (7:30pm), dinner is included.  We thought he would have more fun with other kids his age rather than with a sitter and his baby sister.  The charge is $11.50/hour with a minimum of 2 hours and they are open from 4pm to midnight.

    Have a magical day!
