Hey There, Brittany!
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. Can you believe that after all that planning, you'll be arriving at Walt Disney World tomorrow?! You must be so excited! While there are lots of options during your visit that might need a reservation, since your arrival is so close, I'm thinking you've already made arrangements for hotel and dining reservations –– in that case, I'm guessing you're curious about making theme park reservations using the Disney Park Pass system. Let me share a few details about how Disney Park Pass reservations work and what you'll need to do to make those reservations for your upcoming visit. That way, you'll be all set to hit the ground running as soon as you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort.
For each day that you plan to visit a Walt Disney World theme park, you'll need a
Disney Park Pass reservation and valid admission in order to enter one of the four parks. If your ticket includes the Park Hopper Option, you'll only need to make a reservation for the first park you visit –– you'll be able to hop to any other available park beginning at 2 PM without reserving an additional spot. Just keep in mind that if you're planning to park hop, you must tap your
MagicBand,
Disney MagicMobile Pass, or admission card at the park where you've made your reservation before you can enter another park.
I think the easiest way to make Disney Park Pass reservations is by using the
My Disney Experience mobile app. All you'll need to do is open the app, tap the "+" at the bottom of the screen, and select "Make a Park Reservation" from the menu. From there, just follow the prompts to check availability, select your date, and finalize your park reservation. Also, note that the last few weeks have been very busy at Walt Disney World and park pass availability has been filling up quickly. If you find that reservations are unavailable for your preferred park on a certain day, your best bet would probably be to upgrade to a
Park Hopper ticket, if it isn't already included with your admission. That way, you
should be able to make a theme park reservation for an available park and hop over to the other park beginning at 2 PM (subject to park capacity limits). If you'd like to upgrade your ticket, you can do that by visiting any
Walt Disney World Guest Relations Location or theme park ticketing window.
I hope this helped to answer your question, Brittany, but if you think of anything else, please feel free to visit us again. I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney and I'm wishing you lots of pixie dust during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
See Ya Real Soon,
Amy
