Hi Bonnie! That is a perfect question for planDisney! I’m happy to help you find your Disney “home away from home!”
One of the (many) things I love about the Walt Disney World Resort is that it has resort hotels for every vacation budget! You can select a value, moderate, or deluxe resort! Also, if location is more important to you, you can select a resort hotel in the area of the theme park you feel you might visit most!
In the value category, I always recommend
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort! In my opinion, this is the “Disney-est” of all the hotels in the entire resort! The art of Disney animation surrounds you throughout the hotel - both inside and out! The character statues and theming are my absolute favorite! This is a must-stay resort for the young (and the young at heart)!
I’ve got a few favorites in the moderate category!
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort - Gran Destino Tower gets the top honor! I always feel like I’m staying in a deluxe resort but at a moderate price! The amenities are so nice at this hotel! I also love the landscaping! This resort gives the feel of a true vacation getaway! Other moderate resorts that deserve an honorable mention are Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort! Both provide a relaxing and picture-perfect vacation stay!
And, in the deluxe category, my favorite resort of all time is
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa! This is my Disney “home!” I love the feel of a tropical seaside vacation! The architecture and landscaping are beautiful! The pools are relaxing for adults and fun for the kids! And, I love the convenience of traveling to Magic Kingdom Park aboard the Monorail or taking the leisurely walk to the park along the newly installed walking path! In the deluxe category, I also recommend Disney’s Riviera Resort and Disney’s Yacht Club Resort! The dining options at all three of these deluxe resorts are top-notch!
Bonnie, I hope these recommendations were helpful! You can explore all of the hotels in the Disney Resorts Collection by clicking on the "
