Do I need to be a resort guest to visit the resorts and do the activities there? Such as fireworks from the Polynesian? Or walking the boardwalk? Or the safari at Animal Kingdom Lodge?

    Hello Matthew,

As the current UK planDisney Panelist, it really is my pleasure to welcome you here today!  I truly enjoy having the pixie-dusted opportunity of helping a fellow British Guest who like me, also visits Mickey Mouse from across the other side of the pond.

With so many Things to do at Walt Disney World Resort, there's something to suit each and every Mouseketeer.  From the young to the simply young at hEARt, I feel sure you'll be simply spoilt for a choice of which activities to enjoy within the Disney Theme Parks, Disney Springs, Disney Resorts Collection hotels, and in fact right across the whole of Disney property.

At this time, as we continue Returning to a World of Magic at Walt Disney World, a few Resort Amenities, Recreational Activities, and Events & Tours still remain paused for the meantime - such as the Starlight Safari at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and similar tours which previously any Guest may have participated in.

My best advice Matthew would be to keep an EAR on the Disney Parks Blog for any updates or announcements concerning the return of Events & Tours and so on.

I do have some wonderful news to share in that all Guests are more than welcome to visit Disney's BoardWalk!  Plus, all Guests are able to visit Disney Resorts Collection hotels to enjoy all the wonderful shopping and delicious dining offerings.

Watching Disney Enchantment nighttime extravaganza from the beach at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort would be the perfect end to any Disney day!  There really is nothing more magical than seeing Cinderella Castle illuminated in the distance as you gaze out across Seven Seas Lagoon...

My family and I have loved watching the Magic Kingdom Park fireworks from inside 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.  Therefore my top planDisney tip would be to make Advanced Dining Reservations at 'Ohana that coincides with the scheduled fireworks performance time.  Additionally, I'm delighted to share Guests can make Advanced Dining Reservations online via My Disney Experience up to 60-days in advance.

Matthew, I hope I've been able to provide a little insight today.  Please don't hesitate to pop back to me here at planDisney if you should have any further questions I can help you with.

Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
