Do need to be resort guest to eat there? We're staying off property and wondering other dining options that accommodate food allergies. While Epcot was great last year MK didn't go smoothly food-wise. (yes I did notify and evrything ahead of time)

    Hello Brooks!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question!

You are more than welcome to book restaurants at Disney Resort hotels even if you are not a Guest. There are many great dining options! My favorites are California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, and 1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

I am glad to hear you liked the dining options at Epcot, in my opinion some of the best restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort at located at the World Showcase in this wonderful theme park. Sorry to hear your experience at Magic Kingdom Park wasn’t what you had expected. My family really appreciated Be Our Guest Restaurant and Skipper Canteen. Have you tried these two? Next time you visit I recommend making reservations at these restaurants. Again, if you have any food allergies I advise you to keep contacting the Special Diets team at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com because you never what new options might be available for your next visit. As usual, note restrictions on your reservation, and talk to Cast Members and even the chef at the restaurant upon arrival.

I hope your next dining adventures are magical, Brooks! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel again.
