Do I need to reserve my WDW hotel reservation through the disney site to be able to purchase the dining plan? I was thinking of reserving my WDW hotel through Expedia or Orbitz, but was unsure if that would make me ineligible for the dining package??

    Hi Michele,

To be able to purchase the dining plan you do need to make your reservations through Disney or through a Disney travel agent.

I have always found it easier to book directly through the Disney website - HERE
The website lets you play with your dates/resorts/dining plans to work within your budget.
Or you can always call 407 WDW MAGIC if there are any special offers the Cast Member will know of them and they will always suggest options available to you.

    Thank you for your question.

    Happy planning,
    Carrie
