Do I need to reserve a ticket for Epcot

    Hiya, Matt! Welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for sharing your ticket question. I’m always happy to help a fellow world (showcase) traveler find their way to planning the best Walt Disney World vacation possible. Let’s take a look at your ticket options and get you on your way!

Date-based theme park tickets, which are the standard type of ticket, no longer require reservations for EPCOT or any other Walt Disney World theme park. Theme park reservations are needed if you have student group tickets, sports or convention tickets, Disney Military Salute tickets, or an annual pass. You can find more information about making theme park reservations here, or you can call the Tickets and Hotel Reservations line to speak with a Cast Member.

It looks like you’ll be visiting as Walt Disney World prepares for its winter holiday celebrations based on the info you’ve provided. The parks and hotels are currently wrapped up in the spooky season, but you can preview the holly jolly festivities over on the Disney Parks Blog. It’s one of the best sources for news and updates on the Disney Parks, and a great resource for creating your vacation itinerary. Unfortunately, the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays doesn’t kick off until later in November, but I’m sure other signs of the season will begin to appear during your visit.

I hope this info is helpful, Matt. Don’t hesitate to come back if you have more vacation planning questions. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!

    Magical travels!
