Hi Samuel!
Welcome to planDisney! I love hearing that you have plans to head to
Disneyland Resort with your wife and daughter. The reopening of Disneyland is something that makes us all chEAR with excitement, especially after patiently waiting for many months. I know that as California residents, it's an added treat to be among the first Guests welcomed back to the Happiest Place on Earth.
So glad you have already lined up theme park tickets and theme park reservations for you and your wife. Since your 2-year-old does not require theme park tickets, she also does not need theme park reservations. Just to put your mind at ease, the
Disneyland link for theme park reservations says, “All Guests (
ages 3 and older) must have a valid ticket and a theme park reservation to the same park on the same date.” So for Guests under age 3, they simply accompany you to the theme park you selected each day. Now it totally makes sense why you couldn’t make theme park reservations for her!
Because you are traveling to Disneyland with a toddler, I recommend that you peruse this
list of attractions tailor-made for preschoolers at
Disney's California Adventure Park and
Disneyland Park. My kiddos’ favorites at that age were The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan’s Flight, and Dumbo the Flying Elephant. They are like the “mountain” attractions for little kids!
Soar back over to planDisney if we can help you with more planning questions. Wishing you the most magical vacation ever!
