    Tiffany from MI Asked

Do I need to reserve rides at magic kingdom? I am going on 6/21. I have never been.

    Hey Tiffany!

Welcome to planDisney. Thank you for sending us your great question about Magic Kingdom Park. Your visit is “right around the corner” — how exciting, Tiffany!

Tiffany, you do not need to reserve any attractions at Magic Kingdom Park. In fact, FastPass+ service is currently suspended which means that most Guests must use the regular standby queues to enter rides and attractions.

However, you do need a Disney Park Pass theme park reservation in addition to your valid Walt Disney World Resort theme park ticket to enter Magic Kingdom Park.

As a reminder, all Guests ages 3 and up need a theme park reservation to enter the theme parks during the phased reopening of Walt Disney World Resort. If you haven’t already made your theme park reservation, I encourage you to do so as quickly as you can say “bibbidi bobbidi boo!” because theme park reservations are limited and subject to availability, Tiffany.

Please visit the experience updates page for more information on the phased reopening of the Most Magical Place on Earth. This page is updated often and chock-full of information on face coverings, theme park reservations, contactless payment options, and physical distancing protocols.

If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to visit planDisney again. We are always hEAR for you!

    Wishing you a Magical Visit,
