Hello Lakeshia!
Welcome to planDisney! Oh boy! You are a few days from your trip to Walt Disney World Resort and trying to plan your final details! Tickets are very important, as you may already know, and will be your key to the magic when you arrive!
Tickets can be purchased directly from the Walt Disney World Resort website. These are date-based tickets which means you do not have to worry about any
theme park reservations. Just purchase tickets for the amount of days you wish you to visit and select the anticipated start date for your trip. You will then be given a date range that you will need to use up these tickets. Since these date-based tickets do not need theme park reservations you can visit whichever Park you wish on whatever day you desire in the date range. When purchasing your tickets you have the option to add on options such as the
Park Hopper Options or Water Park and Sports Option.
Once purchased, you will get a confirmation email with your ticket details. If you were logged into your MyDisney account when making your purchase then you can see your tickets in your
Plans. Scroll down till you see "
Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker." It is there that you can see the tickets you purchased. If you need to assign your tickets to anyone you can do it right there. Make sure that your entire family or party is linked to your
Family & Friends List. If they are over the age of 13 they can make their own MyDisney account or you can make managed accounts where you are responsible for their planning. I have managed accounts for my children and my mother-in-law as they are either too young or don't care to make their own but trust me to handle all the details.
You can enter the Parks by either downloading the tickets from the
My Disney Experience Mobile App to your smartphone's digital wallet via the
Disney MagicMobile Service or by
linking a MagicBand to your account. If you have a band linked to each person in your Party then they will have their ticket loaded right onto the band. Another option is to arrive at the Parks and visit the ticket booths where Cast Members can issue a free ticket card that will be your ticket to the Parks! They usually come in fun designs but have a marker ready in case you get a duplicate design so you can note who has which.
I hope this helps you get into the Parks with ease and ready to enjoy a magical vacation!
Happy Planning!
