Hello, Gary! Thanks for cruising to us with your question. It's about time for your adventure to begin aboard Disney Cruise Line. I'd be delighted to help.
If you'll be sailing out of Port Canaveral or Fort Lauderdale in Florida, the parking structures do not take reservations, so you do not need to reserve parking in advance. Disney Cruise Line's website has
a handy link with Port Addresses and Parking Info that is listed by terminal, so I encourage you to view the parking information that is relevant to your sailing and any further instructions.
Once you park, you'll be steps away from your cruise ship and the start of your vacation! Please remember to pack all necessary boarding documents (such as your Port Arrival Form and
Travel Documentation) in your carry-on luggage. You will need to present these documents as you check in at the port.
It's a great idea to be sure you have the most up-to-date version of the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before leaving home. You'll use the Navigator app once onboard to view your dining rotation, see the Daily Activity Schedule, deck plans, and more. It will point your compass toward ALL of the fun!
One of my favorite features of the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app is the ability to book an
Onboard Offer while on your cruise. You can book a placeholder sailing to be used on a future cruise within the next two years. Disney Cruise Line just announced some awesome Onboard Offer deals, and the placeholder deposit is fully refundable if your plans change, so it's definitely worth checking out.
Bon Voyage, Gary! Have the most magical time! Please sail back to planDisney the next time you have questions. We'll be here for you.
