I need to reserve Magic Kingdom for 2 on 2/18 and it's not available. Will there still be a chance to reserve?

    Hi John! Welcome to planDisney.

SQUIRREL! Let's stay focused and get to work! Spending time at Walt Disney World Resort during both The World's Most Magical Celebration and Presidents Day Weekend takes some strategic planning at this late hour. First, let's address the Dumbo in the room. As of now, the Theme Park Availability Calendar is full for both Theme Park Tickets and Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Guests at Magic Kingdom Park. I personally do not see that changing, so what are your options?

My suggestion, if your heart is really set on visiting Magic Kingdom Park on Friday, make sure you are in possession of a Theme Park Ticket with Park Hopper® Option. If you have a one theme park base ticket, you are able to upgrade your ticket. As of today, the other three theme parks are available. Personally, I would choose to visit EPCOT to enjoy the last weekend of the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. At 2:00 PM, park-hopping privileges begin pending park availability. If history is a clue, park hopping is accessible even on high-capacity days. You can verify this by calling (407) 560-5000. Magic Kingdom is only a Walt Disney World® Monorail ride away.

No matter which park you finish your day as the sun goes down Disney icons come to shimmering EARisdescent life during Beacons of Magic. Indulge in specialty-themed treats found in the 50th Anniversary Celebration Sips and Bites Guide.

    Keeping it Magical,
    Cindy
