Hi Melanie! Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for reaching out to us with your question. As a fellow parent of two little Mouseketeers, I completely understand the importance of knowing the ins and outs of
Disney World, especially when it comes to dining and Lightning Lane, some of my favorite subjects to research, so I'll be happy to help you out today.
And here's great news—your husband did everything just right by including your toddler on the reservation. Even though your little one won't have to pay for the meal, it's essential and required that everyone be included in the reservation. This helps our outstanding Cast Members prepare for your visit and ensures they have everything they need for all Guests, including the little ones.
Before you finish packing, I wanted to share a couple of quick tips with you. First, try to arrive early for
your dining reservation, as this can save you time, especially if it's a popular restaurant or peak season. We all know how restless little ones can get when they're hungry, right?
Also, if your plans change and you need to cancel a reservation, you can do it easily online using your
My Disney Experience app. This way, you won't have to worry about any no-show fees, and it gives other Guests a chance to grab a reservation for that time slot. It's like being a real-life Fairy Godmother granting wishes, isn't it?
I really hope these tips help, Melanie. I'll be here wishing upon a star that you have the most magical adventure at Disney World! And if you have any other questions,
feel free to come back and ask anytime. It's always a joy to help out amazing friends like you.
Cheers,
Nilson
