Hello and welcome to planDisney, Mia! I was excited to see your question come through because I happen to love the Water Parks at Walt Disney World.
At this time, Mia, it is not necessary to make park pass reservations for the Water Parks. On the day you'd like to visit you can just show up, purchase your tickets and head right on it. I did want to let you know that, currently,
Blizzard Beach Water Park is the only water park open for Guests to enjoy.
Did you know that Blizzard Beach is home to one of the tallest water slides in the entire world? Yep -
Summit Plummet. It's so high up that you actually can take a chair lift part of the way up. If you like thrill rides, you've got to add it to your must-do list! Another one of my very favorite attractions at Blizzard Beach Water Park is the
Toboggan Racers. If you are competitive like me, you'll love it. For this water slide, you'll lay on your belly and compete against other Guests to see who can make it down the hill the fastest. It's so much fun. The other must-do item when visiting any water park is having the quintessential water park treat - mini doughnuts! Make sure to grab a bag of them before you leave, they are perfect to eat on the way out.
If you want to elevate your water park day, you can always rent a
Polar Patio which is their version of a cabana. The Polar Patios can accommodate up to 6 Guests and includes towels, cushioned seating, a locker for your things, refillable drink mugs and ice water available all day. The Polar Patios do tend to fill up quickly so if you are interested, it's best to call 407-WDW-PLAY and reserve ahead of time. If the Polar Patios are not all full, you can inquire about renting one on the day of at the Beach Haus located near the entrance of the water park.
I hope this helps, Mia! If you have any other questions before your water park day feel free to swim back by and
ask me. Have fun!
