Hiya pal Rich! Thank you for bringing your question to
planDisney!
To visit any of the Walt Disney World theme parks, you do need to have a valid park admission and a park reservation via the
Disney Park Pass system. Prior to purchasing tickets, you can check out the
Disney Theme Park Reservation Availability for your desired date and park. Once you purchase your theme park tickets (or if you have an
Annual Pass,) you can make your
park reservation. I highly recommend making your theme park reservation as quickly as possible after purchasing your tickets to ensure availability. I also highly recommend checking out the latest
health and safety protocols for Walt Disney World prior to your arrival to ensure you have the latest information on park reservations, face coverings, cleanliness, and innovative technology.
Speaking of innovative technology, there are so many new innovative technology features within the
MyDisneyExperience mobile app! These features make visiting the parks highly convenient, safe, and fun! My favorite is the
Mobile Food Ordering feature! You can order your food from many different quick service locations while waiting in line for an attraction and then simply pick it up at the designated window when you are done. Another new technology feature is
Disney Genie+. You can see the wait times for attractions all in one place and the tip board can even populate a customized itinerary for you. This was a life-saver when I was in Walt Disney World last week and it saved my family so much time!
I hope you have a magical vacation!
Magically,
Stacy
