Hiya Mamie - welcome to
planDisney!
I'm so glad you stopped by to ask your first question to our team of panelists - we're here to help you and your crew get the most out of your upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Generally, a Guest is not permitted to make and hold more than one
dining reservation within a two-hour window. That means that if you've booked a reservation, you will automatically be listed as a Guest on the reservation and thus can't make a second reservation within two hours of the first one.
The great news is that you don't actually have to include specific Guests from your Family & Friends list when making reservations - you can just leave them as Guest 2, Guest 3, and so on. This means that even though you personally can't make a second reservation, you're not preventing any of the
other members of your party from making that second reservation. The one downside is that only Guests who are formally linked to a dining reservation will see it in their My Disney Experience plans, so keep that in mind to make sure no one forgets where they need to be and when!
So, find someone else in your party with their own My Disney Experience account who is
not listed on your first reservation. If needed, you can modify the first reservation to remove them by tapping the Update Party link in your first reservation. This will change them to generic Guest 2 (or 3, etc.) - now they're freed up to make your crew's second reservation!
I hope this information helps you continue planning -
please let me know if I can help answer any other questions for you!
