i need to make reservations for 6 people but it only lets me do 5 tickets at a time

Hey there, Robbin! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney! Welcome!

I'm excited to see you are starting to plan your Disneyland trip, and it sounds like you may have already purchased your tickets. The next step would be to make theme park ticket reservations, which seems like you are trying to do. It is correct that you can make 5 ticket reservations at a time, but 10 in total on an account. This means you will make your first 5 reservations and then go back and make your 6th reservation afterwards. Each ticket will hold its own reservation, so this does not mess anything up if you are all in a group.

If you purchased your tickets through Disneyland's website or app, your tickets should already have reservations. If you try to make reservations and come across an error that the ticket has reached its theme park limit, that simply means all days on the ticket already hold a reservation. Should plans change, you can always go back into your MyDisney account on the website or app and modify your reservations to new days.

Once the reservations are set, I recommend making sure all the adults in your party have their own MyDisney account and have downloaded the Disneyland app. Then you can share their ticket number with them to link their ticket to their own account as well. This gives them control of their ticket should they break away from the group and the person who has all the tickets linked to their account.

Robbin, I hope I was able to give you some helpful ticket advice. If you have more planning questions, please come back and visit us again!
