Hi, Erin! You are just days away from your Disney Cruise! Cue the confetti, that is something to celebrate!
I'm happy to share that you do not need to make reservations for your daughter to enjoy
Disney's Oceaneer Club or
Oceaneer Lab. You simply need to stop by during operating hours, and she can join in the fun! I can't wait for her to step into the immersive spaces and interact with the amazing Disney Cruise Line counselors. My kids always have the best time!
Please be sure that you have registered your daughter for these spaces. You were prompted to do so when you completed the online check-in process. As you check in at the port, you'll likely receive an Oceaneer Band for your daughter to wear during the cruise. This band is what she'll use to check in and out of the secure area onboard. When she visits Disney's Oceaneer Club or Lab for the first time, the counselors will double-check her personal information with you and she'll be set to play!
The first several hours after embarkation begins, the youth spaces onboard are typically hosting
Open Houses. This is a time when guests of all ages can come and see all that these spaces have to offer. Once secured programming begins, the adults will be kicked out! You can refer to the schedule of events, including Open House times, general operating times, and planned activities within the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you have stepped aboard the ship.
It's going to be one memorable cruise! Just don't be surprised if you swing by to pick up your daughter and she doesn't want to leave! That's been my experience several times with my children as we cruise with Disney. If you really want to spend some time together as a family, a good activity to entice them away from the kid's spaces is a soft-serve ice cream break. Enjoy!
Have an incredible sailing and please, cruise back to planDisney again the next time you have questions. My panelist pals and I would love to be of assistance.
Bon Voyage,
Adrianna
