Hello, Steve, and welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad you've stopped by to ask your question about park pass reservations. I noticed that your vacation is right around the corner. I bet you are getting so excited.
Steve, as of right now, you still need to make
park pass reservations to visit the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks. If you haven't done so for your vacation in August, I highly encourage you to do it as soon as possible. The first thing I always recommend is to take a look at the
Walt Disney World Them Park Availability calendar. This is going to show you which theme parks are available which days. Then, if the parks that you'd like to visit are open I suggest purchasing theme park tickets. You can purchase a standard theme park ticket that allows entry into one theme park per day or you can upgrade to the park hopper pass which allows entry into multiple theme parks a day. Whichever ticket option you choose, you must make park pass reservation for an initial theme park to visit each day. After you've purchased theme park tickets you'll need to link them to your MyDisneyExperience account. Once all of that is done then you can start the process of making park pass reservations. To do so, you'll need to head over to the park pass reservation website. From there you'll be prompted to select your travel party, the date you'd like to visit and the theme park. If all goes well you'll be taken to a confirmation page and have the ability to make a selection for another day. Once you are finished you should be able to see all of your selections under the itinerary section of your MyDisneyExperience account.
I hope this helps, Steve. If you have any other questions before your trip, stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to helo. Have fun!
