Hello John!
Welcome to planDisney!
You are correct!
Theme Park Reservations are required for every day you wish to visit the Parks- except for the two Water Parks. You will have to visit your
My Disney Experience account and pick the Parks you wish to visit and on which day. Don't delay as the Park reservations can fill up! If you have a ticket with a
Park Hopper option you can "hop" over to any Park of your choosing with no worries about reservations at 2 PM. Remember, that when using complimentary
Resort Transportation to give yourself about an hour to arrive at your next destination so that you are not late.
My humble suggestion is to purchase
Genie+ and book your first
Lightning Lane at 7 AM for your first park which I recommend to be the one with the earliest
Park opening time. Then when you enter the Park you have two hours from Park opening or until you use your first Lightning Lane to then book another Lightning Lane. Getting to the first Park early helps you avoid a lot of crowds and you should be able to have minimal waits for any Rides or Experiences you would like without the need for a Lightning Lane. I would save them for the next Park you are "hopping" to and try to book Lightning Lanes for your second Park of the day and "stack" them for the afternoon. You can change the Park you are booking Lightning Lanes for at the top of the page. Keep refreshing your page on the
My Disney Experience App to load new time slots. This way you can hop to your second Park and while others are dealing with crowded and long queues you can breeze your way from one attraction to another! If you find that your Lightning Lanes are too close together or interfering with a
Dining Reservation, head over to Guest Services Cast Members and they can help you. They are located throughout the Parks under big blue umbrellas and have always fixed my day when it got a bit too tight.
I love having efficient days but I also love to relax! Please make sure to rest, hydrate, and enjoy your time at Walt Disney World Resort!
Let me know if you have any more questions!-Nimmy
