Do I need to make reservations for brunch at goofys kitchen?

    Welcome to planDisney, Nancy!

Garwrsh! When I came across your question about Goofy's Kitchen, I knew I had to help you out! Character breakfasts are a real highlight for me at the resort. My 2-year-old loves spending quality time with Goofy and all of his pals. The last time we went, Minnie stopped to give him a 2-minute and 33-second hug – now that's what I call a treat!

What makes them so special is that the characters come right to your table, allowing you to enjoy a delicious buffet of breakfast delights while interacting with beloved characters and snapping memorable photos.

Another great thing about Goofy' Kitchen is its location within the Disneyland Hotel. You don't need a theme park admission ticket to enjoy a meal there, so it's open to walk-in guests. I personally love having this option to meet characters outside of the theme parks. It's like making it the highlight of the day without all the hassle of planning and packing for a whole day at the theme parks with the family.

But Nancy, since you're visiting during one of the merriest and most popular times of the year, I'd say that if you're looking to dine at any table service restaurant, reservations are the way to go. Goofy's Kitchen even has a special holiday menu for December. If you can't snag a reservation now, no need to fret. Swing by on the day of your visit and see if there are any cancellations.

Nancy, I hope this information helps you have a blast at The Happiest Place On Earth. Keep those questions coming! I'd love to share my favorite tips and tricks for visiting the resort. Feel free to message me directly for a quicker response next time.

    See ya real soon!
