Do you need reservations for any attractions at Disneyland? If so, how do you reserve them?

Hiya, Tania! Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for bringing this awesome question to us. I hope I can help as you plan your upcoming trip.

There aren’t any attractions at the Disneyland Resort that require a reservation, but some experiences do. Of course, some table service restaurants require a reservation, and some restaurants have such limited walk-up service that it’s best to make a reservation. There are also a wide variety of tours for an extra fee that require a reservation. Some of these tours are great ways to see and learn more about the park than the average guest gets to. Some tours also include reserved seating for some of the nighttime shows. Other experiences that require a reservation are Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, Savi's Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers, and the Beverage Education Seminars at Sonoma Terrace.

If you purchase a Lightning Lane Multi Pass, it does require you to make reservations for attractions. If you purchase a Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you can schedule your arrival time at an attraction based on the rides’ availability and your preference. At that reservation time, you get to take the shorter, faster Lightning Lane to decrease your wait time.

If there is a specific attraction, restaurant, or experience you want to confirm does not require a reservation, go to the Disneyland website and search the attraction using the search bar in the upper-right corner of the screen. The page for that attraction will indicate if it requires a reservation by displaying a blue button labeled “Check Available Days.”

Tania, you’re coming to the Disneyland Resort at an exciting time of the year. I hope you and your padawans are strong with the force, because just a few weeks before you arrive, the Galaxy’s Edge timeline expands to include your favorite characters from Star Wars episodes IV, V, and VI. Not only that, Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run is debuting the new mission featuring Mando and Grogu on May 22nd! Dust off your lightsabers and jump to lightspeed. It’s going to be out of this world!

I hope all your planning goes smoothly and you make the most magical memories on your trip. If you have any more planning questions, bring them to us at planDisney. See ya real soon!
