Do I need to make reservation to come to disney

Hey there, Selina! Welcome to planDisney!

It looks like you’ll be enjoying a trip to Walt Disney World in just a few weeks [cue excited screaming and running around]. How exciting! I’m happy to help you find the information you need for the most magical vacation ever.

Whether or not you need a theme park reservation depends on the type of ticket you have. Single and multi-day date-based tickets, which are the standard type, do not require a theme park reservation. Theme park reservations are required if you have one of the following ticket types.

    - Student group tickets
    - Sport and Convention tickets
    - Disney Military Salute Ticket
    - Annual Pass
    - Florida Resident Summer Magic Ticket
    - Florida Resident Discover Disney Ticket
    - All other ticket types not mentioned above

If you have one of these types of tickets, be sure to check the theme park reservation calendar for availability ahead of your visit. If you have a date-based ticket you’re good to go!

You’ve picked a magical time to visit Walt Disney World. Cool Kid Summer is in full swing and there is so much to see and do all across the entire resort. There are special limited-time activities at each theme park, two new shows at Hollywood Studios, Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After and The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure, and the debut of Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away and the reimagined Test Track later in July.

I hope you have an amazing visit to Walt Disney World, Selina. Pop right back if you have any other questions. Your planDisney pals are happy to help!

    Magical travels!
