Do I need to make a reservation for the Wine and Dine post race party? Mor generally, what do I need to do to attend he party now that I have my ticket? Thanks in advance. Bruce

    Hi there, Bruce!

Thanks for running over to planDisney with your question. As a Disney lover, there’s one thing I wish I would’ve participated in earlier: the runDisney events! And the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend? It’s probably my favorite of them all. Honestly, if for no other reason, the Post-Race Party is such a good time after so many Magical Miles.

I’ve got good news ahead, Bruce! You do not need to make a theme park reservation for your Post-Race Party ticket. If you have one, you’re all set! If you’re running the Half Marathon or the Two-Course Challenge, the ticket is included in the price of the race and you’ll receive the physical ticket in the mail. If you purchased your ticket separately, you should have received a digital copy of your receipt.

Regardless of how you’ve gotten that sweet golden ticket to one of EPCOT’s coolest events, you’ll want to link your ticket to your Disney account. Visit the desktop Walt Disney World Resort website, log in to your account, and go to “My Plans.” Find “Add More Plans” and then “Link Reservations and Purchases.” There, you can enter your ticket’s ID number. Want to do this quicker? Visit the online linking tool webpage and add your ticket there!

AN EXTRA GEM: Your Post-Race Party ticket gets you into EPCOT even earlier than when the party officially begins. At 5 p.m., you can enter the theme park to enjoy some of your EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival favorites and thrilling attractions, and then at 10 p.m., the theme park belongs to us participants and other ticket holders.

Bruce, I am super excited for you to attend the party. It is the perfect way to celebrate months of training and an already fun-filled weekend. If you have additional questions about your upcoming vacation, revisit us here at planDisney. I’m all ears!

    Magic always,
