Bienvenidos, Pam! Thank you so much for stopping by to see us at planDisney! It looks like your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is about 10 days away now. Almost time for the single-digit dance! While you're making those last-minute plans, let's chat about one of the newest dining hot spots at
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort!
Situated in the middle of Lago Dorado,
Three Bridges Bar & Grill at Villa del Lago is a real gem. You can sit in comfy chairs and enjoy the view of the lake while sipping specialty cocktails and noshing on some truly unique food with a Spanish flair. My family visited soon after the grand opening, and it was such a pleasant way to pass a rainy afternoon. We walked right up without a reservation just before it opened for the day, and had no trouble being seated.
One way to determine whether or not you need reservations for a Walt Disney World dining experience is to take a look at the page for that restaurant on the website. For example, if you check out the page for the
Rix Sports Bar & Grill, also located at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, you'll see a little blue box under the hours of operation that says "Check Availability." Clicking there searches for reservations on whatever date you choose. (Rix is also one of my sports-loving family's faves, by the way!) By comparison, when you look at the Three Bridges Bar & Grill page, there's no "Check Availability" box. That's a sure-fire way to know that the spot you're looking at takes walk-ups!
Pam, while you're finishing up those plans, be sure to take a look at the
planDisney Panel Extras page. We've collected some of our best tips and advice on what to pack, our favorite souvenirs, and even our go-to dishes around Walt Disney World restaurants. It's like bringing all of planDisney's expertise with you on your vacation!
I hope this helps you have a meal that's
muy delicioso, Pam. Have fun, and please come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
