Bright Suns Julie, and welcome to
planDisney! Thanks for stopping by en route to a galaxy far, far away.
In just a few weeks you'll be coming in for a landing on Batuu, and I'm happy to help with travel preparations as you explore this fascinating galactic outpost. While most experiences do not require advance planning, I'll cover the ones that do. First, should you wish to visit the Gatherer's and build a custom lightsaber at
Savi's Workshop, you will need to secure a reservation.
View availability here, and if you don't find what you're looking for, I suggest checking back frequently before your trip; you may catch a cancelation. Previously, reservations were required to enter the
Droid Depot, but these days, this experience is open to walk-up visitors.
Additionally, if your crew is up to take on Kylo Ren and the First Order, you'll want to do your best to secure a boarding pass for
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Guests are required to join the virtual queue, only accessible via the
Disneyland Mobile App, to experience this attraction. As long as you have a valid ticket and theme park reservation for
Disneyland Park, you can access the virtual queue system and check for an available boarding group starting at 7:00 AM. All other Guests who have entered either Disneyland Park or
Disney California Adventure Park have another opportunity to join the virtual queue at 12:00 PM, but each Guest is limited to one boarding pass per day.
Other experiences in
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge are open to all, without reservations. Try your hand at piloting the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy on
Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run, see what local chefs are cooking up at
Ronto Roasters, and explore unique offerings in the marketplace. Take time to enjoy the details and immersive theming throughout the land, and be sure to pose for lots of photos. Best wishes for an out-of-this-world visit, and may the Force be with you!
Til the spire!
