Do I need a reservation for Space 220 Lounge?

    Hello Gabrielle,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. The countdown is on! Before you know it you'll be traveling around World Showcase and beyond in EPCOT.

Space 220 Restaurant and Space 220 Lounge are out of this world dining experiences. You'll travel by space elevator to dine among the stars, with a fantastic view of Earth. The restaurant serves a prix fixe menu, so a lot of guests prefer the lounge where you can order from a smaller a la carte menu. Whether you dine at the restaurant or in the lounge, you'll need to make reservations. You'll also need to have park tickets as well as a theme park reservation.

This newest dining experience is definitely the most popular in EPCOT and likely throughout all of Walt Disney World right now. I know reservations are really challenging to get. Smaller parties tend to have more luck with reservations at Space 220 Lounge, so if there are just a couple of you traveling, you may be in luck. Also, people often cancel reservations as their park plans change, so keep checking the reservation availability. If everyone traveling is over 21 there are a few seats available in the bar area; however, the line for this limited seating area can get quite long.

Hope this helps. My fingers are crossed and I'm sending some virtual pixie dust your way in hopes that you will be able to enjoy this stellar dining experience.

I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
