Do I need a reservation for savis workshop if I arrive at 6am using the extra extra magic hours?

    Bright Suns, Taylor!

I had the chance to journey to the planet Batuu a few weeks ago for the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, and I can say from experience that you're going to have an incredible time on your upcoming trip to a galaxy far, far away. There is so much to see and do, like piloting the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy on Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run or maybe cooling off with some Blue Milk from the Milk Stand, but my favorite experience from my time at Black Spire Outpost was visiting with the Gatherers at Savi's Workshop. Inside a well-disguised building is a cave where you can use the Force to forge your very own lightsaber from some harmless and totally unassuming "scrap metal". I won't spoil it for you, but by the end of our time at Savi's Workshop, there was not a dry eye in the house.

Because it is such a popular experience and space is very limited, reservations for Savi's Workshop are strongly recommended at all times of the day. It is possible that you may be able to join a standby line or waiting list, but since it's not a guarantee that you'd be able to get it, I heartily suggest making reservations if you can. If you don't see any availability for the days you're looking for, be flexible about when you go and keep checking back to see if any spots have opened up. Guests are changing their plans all the time, so it's entirely possible that you might be able to find the reservation you're looking for.

May the Spires Keep You, Taylor!
